Corporate Vision Strategists was founded in 1990 by Eduardo and Nicolas De Santis as part of their realisation that vision is the core component of any sustainable strategy. The pair created Corporate Vision®, as a pioneering framework to deliver long-term strategic planning and competitive advantage.
With many years of experience in international affairs, global governance and developing global corporate brands, Eduardo and Nicolas realised that management spent little quality time in identifying the future vision of an organisation and most corporations put the emphasis on extrapolating past plans rather than looking into how the future would transform their industries, product offerings and influence customer demand. Most companies missed the opportunities presented by future changes in the marketplace and failed to see that potential market changes could actually deliver opportunities rather than present themselves as threats.
Many managers put their hopes in rebranding or expensive advertising campaigns to sell 'me too' products which would have only limited, short term results. Branding and advertising alone were not enough to create customer preference, drive corporate direction, and produce long term innovation and sustainable growth. In founding Corporate Vision Strategists, our mission was to reinvent how strategic planning and brands are defined for the future in a world where complexity requires maximum vision and sustainability to get and stay ahead.
